On November 7th ‘Art School at Sjælsmark’ held a communal family workshop at Center Avnstrup. All participants were collectively making clay reliefs. The workshop was part of the social art project ‘Ceramic Reliefs – Imprints in Clay’ inviting all residents at Center Sjælsmark and Center Avnstrup to take part in the making of collective ceramic works. Thirteen ceramic reliefs have so far been produced at a series of art workshops where both children and adults have been participating. The first series has already been exhibited at Hørsholm Library and a new exhibition is planned to open on January 29th at Roskilde Library. After the exhibitions the reliefs will be on permanent display on the wall of Center Avnstrup. The project has received funding from 15. Juni Fonden, Augustinus Fonden, BUPL Solidaritets- og Kulturfond and Cerama. The project is organised together with the staff at the Red Cross in Sjælsmark and Avnstrup.
